AWS cost savings · evidence-first

AWS cost savings that an engineer can defend.

Most cost tools tell you how much you spent. IdleLens tells you which resource to clean up next — and cites the CloudWatch datapoint or structural fact behind every finding. Read-only IAM, 16 resource types, a ranked cleanup queue with confidence labels. Your first scan is free; recurring plans start at ₹599/mo when you want continuous monitoring.

What drives the bill

Where AWS spend leaks, and what we look for.

Idle resources keep billing whether or not anything uses them. These are the line items IdleLens surfaces with evidence — not a guess.

Unattached EBS volumes

Provisioned, billed, attached to nothing.

Idle NAT gateways

Hourly charge with zero bytes processed.

Zero-traffic load balancers

ALB/NLB with no requests over the window.

Idle & stopped RDS

No connections, or stopped instances still billing storage.

Idle SageMaker endpoints

Real-time endpoints with zero invocations.

Unused Elastic IPs

Unattached public IPv4 — now billed per address.

Old EBS snapshots

Snapshots of deleted volumes, no AMI reference.

Idle Lambda provisioned concurrency

Pre-warmed capacity nothing invokes.

Three steps

Connect, scan, see what to cut.

1

Connect your AWS account

Deploy a CloudFormation stack with a read-only IAM role and an External ID. ~5 minutes. The exact policy ships in the template — read it before you click Create Stack.

2

Run a scan

The scanner walks your account in 5–10 minutes across 16 resource types and the regions you select. Each finding carries cost, confidence, evidence, and a suggested next action.

3

Triage and save

A ranked cleanup queue sorted by monthly cost. Cleanup decisions stay in your console. Your first scan is free; recurring plans start at ₹599/mo.

FAQ

AWS cost savings questions.

How does IdleLens reduce my AWS bill?

It finds resources you are billed for but no longer use — unattached EBS volumes, idle NAT gateways, zero-traffic load balancers, idle RDS and SageMaker endpoints — and hands you a ranked, evidence-backed cleanup queue. You execute the cleanup in your own console.

How is this different from AWS Cost Explorer or Trusted Advisor?

Cost Explorer shows aggregate spend. Trusted Advisor and Compute Optimizer flag some idle resources. None of them cites evidence per finding, carries your tag policy, or gives engineers a triage workflow. IdleLens sits between cost visibility and the engineer who owns the resource.

Is my AWS account safe?

The IAM role you deploy is read-only. The scanner source contains zero Delete*, Stop*, Terminate*, Update*, or Put* API calls — CI fails the build if any land.

What does it cost?

Your first scan is free. Recurring plans start at ₹599/mo (Starter), with Team and Growth tiers for multi-account and team workflow. No credit card upfront, cancel anytime.
